Siena last day

Woke up to rain on the roof this morning so we hunkered down with a book till lunchtime. We then headed off to the train station to book tomorrow's tickets to Rome. Getting there was easy getting back well that was a different story. We thought we would bus into the city but couldn't find the bus stop we went around and up and down the escalators for an hour before we finally hopped on a bus. Then we didn't know when to hop off the bus and another hour later the bus pulls up. At Belvedere and the driver looks aRound and we are still on it. He didn't seem too pleased and wasn't much help. We just sat on the bus he got off and another guy hopped on and he was more helpful. He said just stay on it will be back in the city in 15mins. This time around we got off at the centre. What a way to waste an afternoon. We grabbed takeaway tea tonight and are sitting in bed eating it. Me with a nice wine I bought in the cinque terre. What a couple of nanas.
