Day 2 Scotland

Left rutherglen for Glasgow this morning after a hearty breakfast which included blood sausage yum. from there things got stressful our pretty Vw something has a button handbrake which I couldn't seem to work on the hills in the city so off we go to Avis for a trade in on an auto however they didn't have any so off we go to Edinburgh. Looking forward to seeing where my grandad was born and raised. Was quite an unusual feeling as I knocked on doors trying to find 43a st spencer street. I talked to a few neighbors and took a few pics.
Next stop Edinburgh castle and do you think we cud find a park no so suit drove and drove around and around and finally one popped up and off we went up to the castle.
After this we were over our day and just wanted to get out of the city and find somewhere to lay our head. After a while we found the perfect place...the Staghead hotel in south queens ferry. As we walked in over tartan carpet and she showed us a room that had the most amazing view we knew this was meant to be. Thankfully the room was twice the size of last nights and I got a double bed. We walked the Main Street that was now dark at 4pm and decorated in Xmas lights and decorations until we spotted the perfect bar for a whiskey. Fresh seafood for tea at the boathouse then back to our hotel. Day done :)
